Buraka Som Sistema

Portuguese electro group Buraka Som Sistema are known for their brand of kuduro- an upbeat sound from Angola that has elements of punk and deep tribal house. Tonight BSS play tracks from new album Black Diamond, featuring hit tracks Sound of Kuduro with M.I.A. and Aqui Para Voces.

Alternative rock duo The Kills, which features vocalist Alison Mossart of the new Jack White project The Dead Weather, are joined by UK garage band The Horrors, who are known for lotsa hair, whore-riffic looks and hooligans, for a night of classic indie rock sounds vs eyeliner punk. The Horrors new album Primary Colours is due out May 4. Magic Wands support.
