Perhaps you’re still hibernating from the long-ass winter…so, here’s what’s hot for your summertime twirlin. Rupaul just put out her eighth studio album Realness and it’s on FLOCKA FLEEK!!! Her past albums were mostly produced by longtime friend Lucian Piane (He produced two tracks here.), but this time around, she’s gone back to her roots and brought in Eric Kupper (remixer for Roisin Murphy, Whitney Houston, Cher, and more) who did her first album Supermodel of the World, and this is probably the biggest burner she has ever released.

“When drag talks about realness, it’s always with a wink because, you know, here I am, a drag queen talking about looking and feeling real, which is the joke itself”, says RuPaul

Realness is all dance, all house music, all the time. Kupper has outdone himself with a collection of tracks that are clearly a throwback to Ru’s NYC clubbing days, replete with disco hi-hats and Ru’s lyrical sass. Ru has always had an affection for and envy of the vogueing ballroom scene…and this is the soundtrack for it. Now, HOLD THAT POSE…and download it HERE.
