Web Series “Queens of Kings” Features Top Brooklyn Drag Queens

Submitted by on Sunday, 28 June 2015No Comment

Brooklyn is a DRAG!!!…at least that’s what the boys in wigs say! A new six-part web series called Queens of Kings is showcasing some of the star drag queens of the Brooklyn, New York scene…and believe me…these girls go HARD! The first episode features the brilliant Merrie Cherry, creator of the Brooklyn Nightlife Awards, in and out of drag, talking about hooking up with straight trade, her first time seeing her uncle in drag, and getting naked in public.

“I used to have a lot of body issues”, says Merrie. “I definitely would never get naked in front of anyone. If I was having sex with them, I would normally do it in the dark. But now you can ask most people in nightlife, and they will tell you that they have seen Merrie Cherry naked. That’s because since doing drag in New York, I have become more comfortable with myself. I’ve seen the beauty that is me.”

You can watch Merrie Cherry’s episode below, and click HERE for the entire series, presented by Refinery29 and No Your City, featuring Untitled Queen, Lucy Balls, Charlene, Hamm Samwich, Misty Meaner and Mocha Lite.
