Sonic Youth + The Feelies
The New York alternative rock legends (actually, Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore moved to Massachusetts) play a free Fourth Of July gig in Battery Park in celebration of WMFU’s 50 years on the air. With over 400 no wave/new wave/post punk/punk rock songs in their canvas tote, plus Kim’s side project album Inherit, they’re bound to play a few of your favourites. Although this is a free show, you were suppose to reserve tix…but show up anyway…diehard fans always get in! The Feelies open.
