“Fashion Night Out”…NYC’s Biggest Xtravaganza
Fashion Night Out is set to become the fashion industry’s big party. Thanks to Vogue, Anna Wintour and New York’s town hall, a special day has been created to increase consumption in the fashion sector and improve store sales.
On the 10th of September, during Fashion Week, clothing stores in New York, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and other fashion capitals will be open until 11pm with parties, special events and promotions. Barneys New York will be setting up a special bar, tended by the Olsen twins, Anna Wintour will be the special guest at Macy´s party (apparently in Queens) and Pharrell Williams will be behind the counter at his Billionaire Boys Club store in Soho. Chanel NYC will let you customise your classic Chanel bags. And an official commemorative t-shirt will be created to raise funds for various charities, including the National September 11 Memorial & Museum at WTC. Also in town that night…Manolo Blahnik, Oscar de la Renta, Rachel Roy, Diane Von Furstenberg, Cindy Crawford, Derek Lamb, Tommy Hilfiger, Francisco Costa and Roberto Cavalli.
