The soulful Sam Sparro has just released new single Hands Up from forthcoming EP Quantum Physical Volume 2. The empowering track speaks on the changes we all need to do to make the world a better place. Once again Sparro has produced a smooth house music anthem with a universal theme that kicks you right in the gut (remember Black and Gold?).

“This song is a direct reaction to what has been escalating in the media over the past few years”, says Sparro. “There’s been so much violence propagated against people. It was making me upset and angry, to the point where I couldn’t function… I couldn’t even get out of bed sometimes. I had to make a decision to shift my mind. We need conscious music right now. We need a new generation of Curtis Mayfields, Marvin Gayes, Mos Defs, and Erykah Badus.”
