Israeli Queens Demonstrate Airline Safety Procedures In “Priscilla: Queen of the Sky”

Submitted by on Thursday, 6 August 2015No Comment

Welcome aboard flight 505 Priscilla to TLV!!! Oh…this is just too cute! Israeli art student Elia Chechick had to put together a class project with the task of branding an airline. So, she enlisted her three friends (Didi Hart, Sapir Tidhar Lahav and Lady G) and came up with super camp airline flight safety instructional video, inspired by 90s gay cult film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, performed to Scissor Sisters’ hit track Let’s Have A Kiki. Check out the genius piece below…and don’t forget, “Let’s do it safely!” (via Ynet)

“I remember when the movie Priscilla Queen of the Desert came out in theaters,” says Chechick.”I watched the movie plenty of times when I was a kid, and it provided me with the inspiration for the project, in all of its elements, from the concept to the bus named ‘Priscilla’, to the lavender paint – just like branding.”
