I started doing drag about 4.5 years ago when I moved to Seattle from my hometown of Tucson, AZ. Drag quickly became a way for me to stop fearing my femininity and instead to find strength in it. It also became a very necessary and cathartic way for me to express myself. I love embodying both extremes of the masc/femme spectrum (often at the same time), because it tends to make people feel something – whether the initial reaction is disgust or adoration, at least I’m making you FEEL something.

I just returned from a month long tour in my PT cruiser wherein I did over a dozen events  across many cities, including Phoenix, Tucson, El Paso, Albuquerque, Denver, Salt Lake City, and Las Vegas. The trip was over 3,400 miles. I got back to LA just in time to be at RuPaul’s DragCon in the Corset Connection booth! I’ll be hitting the road again this summer for seven weeks or so, throughout California, Oregon, Washington, Vancouver B.C and more to come.
