Watch: VIZIN Is Happy, Carefree & Gay in “I Was Born This Way” (Disco Cover)

Submitted by on Friday, 7 July 2017No Comment

LA-based queen VIZIN is on FIRE with her new dance floor hit I Was Born This Way– a cover version of Valentino’s (later by Carl Bean) disco, 70s gay anthem. The 5-octave singer’s version, a Hector Fonseca and Eduardo Lujan remix, continues the original’s message of making the plight on gay issues known and bringing them to the forefront…and it’s “a joyful celebration with a love-yourself message and song-of-the-summer flavor,” says VIZIN. Check out the video below, inspired by Mariah Carey (her look on the bench between the poodle statues), Marilyn Monroe (her retro look on the bed) and Barbie. I Was Born This Way is available now on iTunes!
