WOWlebrity Mx Qwerrrk caught up with the super sweet sensation, and had a lil’ gurrrl talk about her celebrity crushes, best girl groups EVAH, and her herstory-making as the first trans woman to create a principal role on Broadway, with the debut of the Gwyneth Paltrow-produced,  Go-Go’s musical Head Over Heels, coming this Summer (previews June 23).

When I was younger I stuck out like a sore thumb, from playing at recess to being captain of the cheerleading squad. From school musicals to dating men who didn't understand their attraction to me while holding my hand walking down the street. From to moments of Triumph like RuPaul's Drag Race and now this mammoth moment before me on preparing a role on Broadway. At times I have been obvious at times I've been a target and at other times I have tried to be brave and stand up. A few times I've even been called a pioneer. Even though it hasn't always been easy today I'm thankful for the opportunities I've had to be visible and I'm even more thankful to be seen. #transgenderdayofvisibility #tdov #transQueen #woman
