Britney Spears Look-Alike Contest

She’s been an inspiration for pre-pubescent girls… She’s shown her fanny to the world…and through it all, she’s remained pure trailer trash. Tonight, girls and boys will be donning their best blonde weaves, showing their best moves “commando” style, and singing in a pop-monotone style at the Britney Spears Look-Alike Contest.

The Town Tavern, 134 W 3rd St at Sixth Ave, 212-253-6955, 9pm, free

ABC Rebel Night Rockabilly Dance Party

Are you a fan of random pelvic thrusts? Do you find yourself buying bowling shirts with non-existent team names on them, and creepers that you can’t really walk in? Is your bed pillow full of pomade? Then you need to get your retro swing dance on tonight. DJs Sei, June, Kick, and Hiromu spin western swing, blues, boogie woogie, and more.

Otto’s Shrunken Head, 538 E 14th St bet Aves A and B, 212-228-2240, 10pm, free, www.myspace.com/rebelnight

Santogold + Low vs Diamond + Trouble Andrew + Plastic Little

Santogold is a bit 12 hours ago, but still worth checking out. Maybe she’ll do her best track not on her album Shake It To The Ground by DJ Blaqstarr. Philly based comical hip-hoppers Plastic Little get dirty on the mic.

Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza, 17 Irving Plaza at 15th St, 212-777-6800, 8pm, $25

QxBxRx

Queers, Beers, and Rears is the name…and that pretty much sums it up. DJs Go-Karff, Sir Loins, and A. Martini are bringing back the glorious stench of rock n roll sleaze to the L.E.S. Go-go boy whores, cheap date-rape drinks, and toilet love are just a few of the offerings. DC punk band Partyline, Tokyo band Falsies On Heat, and local Brooklynites Carnal Knowledge play live.

Cake Shop, 152 Ludlow St bet Rivington and Stanton Sts, 212-253-0036, 11pm, $5, www.myspace.com/qxbxrx

Motörhead + Valient Thorr + Year Long Disaster

UK quasi gender-fuckers Motörhead return to NYC with their over-sexed thrash metal show. Expect lots of DNA coming out of every orifice by original lead singer Lemmy, and a never-ending playlist of greatest hits including Ace Of Spades, Bomber, and Get It On…plus new songs from current release Motörizer. Valient Thorr and Year Long Disaster support.

Roseland Ballroom, 239 W 52nd St bet Broadway and Eighth Ave, 212-307-7171, 6:30pm, $37

Sunday 09.21

Terra Naomi

YouTube folk-star is an edgier Joni Mitchell, a cuter Carole King…and she’s actually making cool music. After posting a video of herself strumming guitar and singing her own indie-pop song Say It’s Possible, New Yorker Terra Naomi became a legit musician. She’d better thank all those teenage hard-on boys that  made her their first.

Joe’s Pub at The Public Theater, 425 Lafayette St bet Astor Pl and East 4th St, 212-539-8778, 11:30pm, $12, www.myspace.com/terranaomi
