Back by popular demand, nightlife impresario Deryck Todd presents the winter 2009 installment of BowieBall: celebrating the apex of electric excess— BowieBall pays homage to the definitive rock icon: David Bowie, in an anything-goes charity extravaganza bringing together the best in music, art, fashion, and entertainment. The amazing line-up of DJs includes Josh Madden, Jake B (Diesel), Rok One (The Bangers), Johnny Dynell (Vandam), Justine D, Michael T (Motherfucker/Rated X) and her US debut BiancaGoesPublic will spin exclusive Bowie smashups. Plus, live performances with backing band by the legendary icon Kevin Aviance, gospel goddess Our Lady J, bodacious chanteuses Bridget Everett & Amy Douglas, The Mystery of Claywoman’s Michael Cavadias, Slingky Vagabond headliner Keanan Duffty, downtown diva Michael Formika Jones & the infamous Miss Guy.
