If you’re a fan of Kate Bush and Regina Spektor, you’re still stuck in the 2007 error…sorry, that’s era!…and you’ll just love what Marina and the Diamonds are dishin out…artsy pop songs that tend to be a bit emo-screamy at times. Actually, we first heard Lady Diamadis’ (real name…so much cooler!) music in the form of a remix for biopic single I am Not a Robot by London’s electro daddy Starsmith. We thought that was what MTD was all about…apparently she’s actually a freak on stage and musically a bit oddly rhythmic. Find out what that means at her live show tonight as she does songs from debut album The Family Jewels.
