SUNDAY 15

“Fukt 2 Start With: Short Stories & Broken Werd” Book Launch Party

Inspired by life events, Fukt 2 Start With: Short Stories & Broken Werd by Walt Cessna is a collection of short stories that follow the lives, times and numerous misadventures of various misfits who live so far on the edge that falling off is somewhat implausible. While facing the major struggles of everyday life, while often out of their own league, they learn to adapt and figure out new ways to make it through and ultimately survive. Tonight’s event features  impromptu readings from by the likes of Chi Chi Valenti, Alberto Cortes (The Crystal Ark/DFA), Nicholas Gorham, Derek Nicoletto, Paul Wirhun, Michael Alago, Max Steele, Jake Ryan & Muffinhead…and a very special performance by Kyle Kupres & the bad boy of burlesque Chad Ferro & correct sound effect courtesy of DJ Sheba Legend. Hosted by Heidi Sjursen. Check out the full line-up HERE!

Munch Gallery, 245 Broome St at Ludlow St, NYC, 212-228-1600, 5-10pm, free
