Chelsea Hotel Through the Eyes of Photographers

The infamous hotel celebrates its 125th anniversary with pics from over 60 photogs on display. See the rooms where Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols killed Nancy Spungen, Patti Smith boned Robert Mapplethorpe and John Cale, and Dee Dee Ramone brought his “special” groupies…it’s the seeding ground for a generation of useless celebrity kids.

Night of a Thousand Stevies: Nightbirds

“In The middle of my room, I did not here from you!”…how many times has this happened to you?…waiting by the phone that never rings…once again a loser, alone, alienated? Well, the times are a changing. Now you can hang out in a room filled with other sociopaths at Night of a Thousand Stevies. It’s the annual homage to Stevie Nicks hosted by nightlife legends Chi Chi Valenti and Hattie Hathaway. Dj’s Sammy Jo (Scissor Sisters), Poison Eve, and Craig Spencer spin tunes.
