OMGeee! This game is too cute! As with most app games these days, there’s tons of little fun thingies to encounter, as you rack up points and prizes…I won’t spoil your journey by revealing all that. What I can say about Gay Fighter Supreme, the first gay fighting video game, is that it’s totally a hoot! There’s lots of stereotyping going on here, so, if you’ve lost your youthful humor, this probably isn’t for you. Basically, there are 10 LGBT fighters (including drag queen Carrie Cupcake, gogo Gary, lesbian Sappho Ethridge and twink Timmy Spears)  competing to win the title of Gay Fight champion, on twelve levels. The final level is a battle against The League of Oppressive Self-Righteous Zealots– a group whose aim is to wipe out the LGBT community. So, your job/mission here is to save the gays (lol…trust me…it’s hilarious!).

“The game is intended to be irreverent, satirical, fun spirited and ironic”, says Melchor Cardenas (co-creator). “Anyone who mistakenly views the game as offensive or feels it perpetuates gay stereotypes is missing the point. It’s pure satire. We don’t mean to offend anyone. If it does offend someone, we hope it inspires them to create a fun queer-themed game of their own.”

I just started playing. Clearly, I chose drag queen Carrie Cupcake as my avatar. I haven’t gotten that far yet, but…trust, I’ll be on this all night. Oh…and you can play with friends too! Now available on iPhone, Android and Windows.
