Hillbilly boogie is back!!! 50s and 60s rock n roll, surf, soul, and R&B are served up redneck fresh at this hoppin’ shindig. Rockabilly was once the dirty little secret of the South. Now, it’s a revamped “cool” subculture appropriated by the Japanese…so it’s gotta be good…right? DJs Sei, June, Kick, and Hiromu represent with big hair and dance lessons.

Germany’s grand daddy DJ of trance returns to NYC for the annual Made Dykfest. The blue-eyed babe will be spinning 5 hours of his favs and tracks from latest EP release Hands On In Between. DJs Matt Darey and Jason Jollins open. The event starts at Pier 54, with an afterparty at Webster Hall.

Return of Rococo

Think Amadeus, Marie Antoinette, The Marquis de Sade, and a whole lot of Kryolan white face make up! It’s one of the last parties in NYC that gives a bit of glamour, albeit 18th Century retro. Music and live art by Snazz Mammoth and k.m.b.s….and a man who’s into getting walked on The Human Floor.
