House of Diehl’s Style Wars

They’re calling it the ‘8 Mile of style battling’! The annual event invites new designers from all over to come together and design, cut and create fresh looks, all in one evening. Recycled garments and ordinary objects are the only materials used to assemble looks in under five minutes. The result, a huge mess…but a lot of fun! Judges include model Jenny Shimizu and Sex and The City stylist Rebecca Weinberg.

Fixed Fifth Anniversary: Basement Jaxx

UK house music duo Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe, aka Basement Jaxx, are in town celebrating their new bangin’ album Scars and the b-day of long-running party Fixed. Tonite, Jaxx do a live DJ set, along with JDH, Making Time’s Dave P, and DFA’s Holy Ghost.
