Yes, the Liars are another bunch of bromancers, hatched out of art school…and so comes the prerequisite artsy, disconnected sounds, sprinkled with social commentary. Their latest album Sisterworld delves into the ‘lack of connection with the milieu’…wow, these kids are smart! But don’t let the braniac retorts scare you, this is probably their most cohesive collection of songs in a decade, full of trembling guitar lines, high-pitched strings and geistly piano sounds…that might scare you. Tonight, they’re live with Fol Chen as the opening act.
