Apparently, this album was originally slated to be something totally different that was flately denied by their label. The end result (a &#8220;compromise&#8221; as they call it) was a more accessible sound than the nu rave racket they were known for on releases like Gravity&#8217;s Rainbow, Golden Skans and Magick. It&#8217;s kinda like what happened to MGMT&#8230;not sure yet if it&#8217;s the dawn of a new day or Doomsday.
