British singer Marilyn aka Peter Robinson claims he had a long-standing secret love affair with Gavin Rossdale, who is now married to Gwen Stefani.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was the love of my life,\u201d Marilyn says.<\/p>\n
Rumors of Gavin’s alleged sexuality had surfaced years ago when Boy George made allegation that Gavin and Marilyn had a love affair – in his 1995 book, Take It Like a Man<\/em>.<\/p>\n Gavin denied it, stating, \u201cI wasn\u2019t dating Marilyn. We were, and still are, good friends.\u201d At the time, Marilyn denied the affair, as well.<\/p>\n Marilyn claims he initially lied about it for the sake of Gavin\u2019s career but now, wants to set the record straight. In an exclusive interview with In Touch<\/em>, the British pop icon details the love affair that began in the early \u201980s. \u201cWe were together five years,\u201d Marilyn says. \u201cBut it felt like 40.\u201d<\/p>\n
