Short interviews with\u00a0<a style=\"color: #ff8000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dijonmusic.com\/\">DJ Honey Dijon<\/a>,\u00a0<a style=\"color: #ff8000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Cakes-Da-Killa\/149034035175294\">Cakes Da Killa<\/a>, artist\u00a0<a style=\"color: #ff8000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/julianahxtable\">Juliana Huxtable<\/a>,\u00a0<a style=\"color: #ff8000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/kalup.linzy\">Kalup Linzy<\/a>\u00a0and others from New York\u2019s\u00a0art, music, literary and nightlife scenes, are layered over Butler\u2019s track.\u00a0After 13 years living as a \u201cQueen in New York\u201d, Butler saw his own usage of the word engrained into his vocabulary. A move to German speaking Vienna prompted him to reflect on how subversive it really was, and sparked an exploration of it in a song.\u00a0\u201dMy initial idea was to conceptualize the song through a series of filmed interviews with performance artists who explore profanity and gender in their work but I was not aiming at the fusion of music, video and documentary, says Butler. When I talked to Matt Lambert (director) for the first time, he mentioned the idea of combining the two formats \u2013 music video and documentary.
