About<\/strong>: \u201cI\u2019m inspired by all things 80\u2019s, but more specifically 80\u2019s heavy metal. Hellvetika is a glamorous representation of metal idols of mine like Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden<\/strong>, Rob Halford from Judas Priest<\/strong>, or Ronnie James Dio. A lot of people have trouble seeing how metal and drag relate, but to me, metal is and always has been drag. It\u2019s so campy and bombastic, the lyrics are pure drama, the singers are legitimate divas wailing incredible high notes. Look at something like Gwar or a stage set of an Iron maiden concert and tell me that isn\u2019t drag.”<\/p>\n
