However, Anderson was unaware of any issues with depression.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe said, \u2018I can\u2019t feel my heart.\u2019 And I said, \u2018What\u2019s wrong? What\u2019s going on?\u2019 And he said, \u2018I took a pong seed.\u2019 And I said, \u2018A what? What is that?\u2019 The police, the paramedics, they didn\u2019t even know, no one knew.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy last words to him were I love you, and his last words to me were, \u2018I love you, mom no matter what.\u2019 I don\u2019t know how I\u2019m talking\u2026I really don\u2019t, I really don\u2019t, but I think it\u2019s important. I don\u2019t want my son to die in vain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Police have confirmed that the seeds were purchased online and delivered from Thailand.<\/p>\n<p>According to Dr. Roderick Tung, heart-rhythm specialist, University of Chicago Medicine,\u00a0\u201ccerberin appears to be one of the most lethal agents in this class of medications or natural plants.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Noting that suicide is the second leading cause of death among 10- to 24-year-olds in the United States, Dr. Shubhrajan Wadyal, a child psychiatrist with AMITA Health Behavioral Medicine, said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI genuinely hope this is an isolated incident, but we need to be aware that it could potentially get worse.
