“This crazy experience started three years ago. A local queen encouraged me to perform after she saw the makeup I was playing with. I pursued it further, after realizing I had found the creative outlet I had spent years looking for. I get to express myself as the freaky weirdo, without being trapped inside a box. There are no rules surrounding drag, and I love the freedom it gives me. My drag is heavily influenced by a blend of electro pop, anime, and spook. I am constantly trying to push my drag a step further. Songs, my emotions, even a piece of art will easily influence the style of drag that I present.<\/div>\n

I work in a show called #DragRevolution,<\/em> at the Minneapolis bar LUSH<\/a>.\u00a0 My goals in the next year are to host anime viewing parties, and I am in the process of building a dance night for our community that doesn\u2019t focus on gender or sexual orientation. I want to build a safe space that encourages people from all spectrums (including the straight community) to come together, have a frickin\u2019 good time, and that celebrates us as individuals.”<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
