“I am a dragtress, first and foremost. I started doing drag when I was cast in a female role in my college’s production of The Threepenny Opera. I thought it was a mistake since my “boy name” is gender neutral. I had always dressed up in my mom’s clothes and played with my sister’s dolls as a kid, and performing in drag has given me an excuse to turn myself into my own human Barbie doll.<\/div>\n

A lot of my inspiration comes from the music, TV, and movies of the 50s, 60s, and 70s, but I am also really inspired by current events and the digital age. I like to juxtapose old and new material in the mixes that I perform. For example, one of my numbers involves mixing Cruella De Vil\u2019s<\/strong> dialogue from the old 101 Dalmatians<\/em> movie with Meredith Brooks\u2019 song\u00a0Bitch<\/em>.”<\/div>\n
