“My name’s Kahanna Montrese… and I live, eat, sleep, and Grindr for Drag! I’m a professional dancer and I perform on the Las Vegas Strip. I am also the daughter of Coco Montrese<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0from Season 5 of Rupaul’s Drag Race<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The reason I started Drag was based on a bet I made with a bartender in my hometown, at small local bar called The Fiesta<\/em>, in Panama City Beach, Florida. I was amazed by the transformations by drag queens, and it was at my first drag show I realized that me just dancing wasn’t fulfilling enough. So, I took the challenge to perform the next week in drag at Fiesta…and 7 years later, here I am, performing in casinos in Las Vegas!<\/p>\n

I’ve always been inspired by my own drag mother and Nina Flowers<\/strong><\/a>. I had been following both queens for years and they both have a special place in my life. Nina Flowers is the reason I continue to do drag. She believed in me when I couldn’t see the potential of where I could go as an entertainer. Coco is more than a drag mom to me…he’s my idol, best friend, dad…and pushes me to do bigger and better, and never settle.<\/p>\n

I’m currently in the cast of Drag Brunch at Se\u00f1or Frog’s Las Vegas<\/a>\u00a0and it truly is the best gig to be apart of. As for the future, I have an audition coming up for the biggest drag show in Las Vegas. I’m currently working on my costumes for the audition, and hopefully joining the cast as Beyonce!”<\/p>\n
