Throughout the summer (starting Monday, May 8), you can visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifccenter.com\/series\/queerartfilm-summer-of-resistance\/\"><strong>IFC Center<\/strong><\/a> in NYC and get more history about some of the LGBTQ pioneers and advocates that started the <em>Resistance Movement<\/em>, long before it became a hashtag. Featured films include\u00a0<em>The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Southwest of Salem: The Story of The San Antonio Four<\/em>, <em>The Salt Mines &amp; The Transformation<\/em>, and <em>A Glass and a Cigarette<\/em>.
