“I’ve always said, growing up, I was a weird art kid who lived inside his head. I used drawing, painting, and writing, as my way of expressing myself…as angry little gay boy living in small town. When I moved to Toronto, I surrounded myself with people who found expression in new avenues like hair, fashion and makeup. Shortly after moving, I was asked to model for five designers at F.A.T., Fashion Art Toronto<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0week, and that’s when I first started expressing myself as this gender blur!<\/p>\n

Visually, I love seeing extreme makeup. I remember watching TV and seeing a documentary about Michael Alig, James St. James<\/strong><\/a> and the club kids and it all clicked. I’ve always been a sucker for edgy, fishy, club kid queens. So, when I’m on Instagram, that’s what I get lost in… looking at it for hours. For myself, however, I hate painting super-structured feminine looks, because I find myself somewhere in the middle. I look at my face and see angles, and shapes and that is what inspires most of my looks. I love the mixture of super soft-blended colors with harsh flat shapes. As for what’s next, I just finished walking for 11 designers at this season of F.A.T., and work as a visual merchandising manager\/influencer. I’d love to move to NYC\/LA to expand my makeup portfolio and continue to push myself with my expression.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
