\u201cI have a theater background. I started doing drag because, as a transfemme, non-binary artist, I was frustrated by often being shamed for my femininity in traditional theater spaces. I grew tired of pretending that I wanted to, or was able to convincingly play cisgender, heterosexual, masculine men. I love that I get to have creative control of my work in the drag world; and I use it to express my gender identity, my personal journey, and my perspective as an artist!<\/div>\n
