“Oh, the reason why I started drag 15 years ago was my stressful job. I am a graphic designer, running my own business; but because it was growing, I finally had to manage my team and not my creativity.<\/p>\n

So, I decided to try female impersonation, inspired by some friends of mine, and it became a passion. It was creepy, with a horrible style, but such fun. For me, as a straight guy, it was such a special thing. Today, no one could believe that I am still straight, with a beloved wife, and a 17 yr old daughter! I really found a lot of inspirations in the neo-burlesque scene and became a part of it. The next step was the stage. Like a kind of freak show, everybody wants to have a straight, burlesque drag queen on stage as a host, or with a burlesque performance. 😜<\/p>\n

My drag is also inspired by my Rockabilly past. I adore the vintage fashions of the 20s to 50s a lot.<\/p>\n

In 2012, I began to produce my own queer burlesque shows and today I am proud to have the biggest variety revue in Berlin, with a lot of queens and true burlesque icons…The Vaudeville Variety Revue<\/a> at\u00a0The Berlin Wintergarten theatre. Next show will be September 22nd-23rd.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
