“I started off as a professional dancer and musical theatre performer. After 10 years of performing and touring, I needed something more. I was tired of constantly being told to butch-it-up<\/em>, or to look a certain way, or even just being hidden in the ensemble. I got a small taste for drag while performing in a regional production of La Cage Aux Folles<\/em>, but all the shaving for 8 shows a week for months on end really did my body in. After being on tour in Seattle and seeing the infamous Grace Towers<\/strong><\/a> performing at The Eagle, I realized bearded drag really was something I could use to express myself authentically and fully.
