“Drag, for me, is really about finding and showcasing power in all of the things I was told made me weak throughout my life…and living the fantasy of the female characters that shaped my youth. When I was really young; and didn\u2019t know what being gay meant, I didn\u2019t think I was allowed to like boys. So, I created an alter ego for myself, whom I named Tiffany, that I could imagine being with all the boys I was crushing on, and I would draw her all the time. The name stuck because I\u2019ve always been super drawn to powerful femininity, and I couldn\u2019t tell you why ‘Tiffany’ has always really exuded that to me. ‘Diamond’ then comes from my love of old Hollywood glamour and film…but I am also really inspired by designer dolls…and if Tiffany Diamond doesn\u2019t sound like the name of the doll you keep in a collectors\u2019 box on a top shelf, I don\u2019t know what does…haha!<\/div>\n
