“I started drag because of my love for makeup and transformation. I began playing around with makeup around the age of 15, sneaking little bags full of hand-me-down makeup that my best friends (at the time) used to give to me and I would play around with behind my (latino-conservative) parents backs. I began doing drag seriously, literally, two days after I turned 18 and I thought I was THAT girl because of the social media following I already had for being an Instagram makeup artist, but I was wrong. Luckily, with the support of my queer family down here in Miami, I have been able to grow and push myself even further with every new performance, look, or project in general that I do.<\/p>\n

My biggest inspiration would have to be the amazing Pat McGrath<\/strong>.<\/a> She has been able to create so many iconic moments in fashion and runway with her makeup, that simply the world of fashion and beauty wouldn\u2019t be the same without her. She has left her stamp on this planet with her art and I wish to do the same with my work as time goes by. Currently, I\u2019m working alongside my community to put the queer Miami scene on the map and give more representation to our underground scene. There is so much hidden talent in Miami and I believe through the power of social media and networking, Miami will start becoming more visible in the community as a city full of queer excellence and talent. We truly are all underrated.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
