\u201cMy name is Sterling, like the silver, and I\u2019m a non-binary, Brooklyn-based makeup artist and drag performer. I specialize in campy, theatrical, and experimental makeup styles\u2026but ALSO specialize in being incredibly stupid!<\/p>

I moved to NY from Boise, Idaho- the state that looks like a gun- and went to college for musical theatre for a year in Rochester. I then quit musical theatre school and went straight for the Big Apple, to chase my dreams and be poor and desolate for a few years.<\/p>

In New York, I freelanced for just about every cosmetic company you can think of, and performed around Brooklyn and Manhattan. During quarantine, I got incredibly displaced and depressed\u2026so, I focused on improving my makeup skills and feel really proud of the work I\u2019ve been able to put forward. Makeup and drag are such an incredible way to express my creativity and I\u2019m so happy to be able to share it with you!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
