“Mis-Fortune Cookie” Short Film by BERLIN artist Stefan Fähler

When Marcia (Bine Fez Buk), an innocent young woman, unsuspectingly opens her fortune cookie after a relaxing meal of Chinese food in her bath tub, she receives a rather strange message, “Happy Birthday”. Discarding the proclamation with a frown, she soon finds out, in what hair-raising manner her fortune will materialize.
Written, shot, edited and scored within 22 hours, this short was produced as part of the Berlin “Scream Or Die” horror film competition. Participants had to develop a short movie between 1 and 5 minutes length within a day.
