With songs about laser beams, wolves and libertines, HR fit easily into DIY sound of the moment coming out of East London (think Crystal Castles), even though their from Williamsburg. Check out some of their hits like C.Y.O.A and Ultraviolence tonight.

Public Assembly, 70 North 6th St bet Kent and Wythe Aves, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, 718-384-4586, 10pm, $10, www.myspace.com/heartsrevolution

O.T.K. Discipline

otkd

It sounds pretty hardcore, in a S&M kinda way, but it’s really art…right? Over The Knee Discipline is a massive orgy of artists coming together for one night of freedom, experimentation and debauchery via videos, live performance, and music. Hosted by Brian Kenny and Gio Black Peter (pictured…we think). Art by Alex Sedano, Billy Miller, Bruce LaBruce, Daniel McKernan, Desi Santiago, Fixx Invictus, Jared Buckheister, Josh Bloom, Lady Fag, Leif, Luigi y Luca, Lyndsy Welgos, Michael Magnan, Micki Pellerano, Max Steele, Noah Lyon, Paul Mpagi Sepuya, PRICKIMAGE, Richie Rent & JJ, SPANK Zine, Stuart Standford, Superm, Bec Stupak & Malcolm (SUPER A LOT), Tha Pumpsta, Scott Hug and many more.
