Book of Love

Believe it or not, the synth-pop band that owned the 80s sound Book of Love, are still together (at least for one night), celebrating the 25th Anniversary of their self-titled debut album. Re-live the decade that flaunted air-brushed faces, aerosol hair, and pure pop-tastic tunes which remain the influence for many of todays top bands…including rip-off artists like Lady Ga Ga. NYC DJ Bill Coleman does opening set.

Highline Ballroom, 431 W 16th St bet Ninth and Tenth Aves, NYC, 212-414-5994, 9pm, $15,
