The Addams Family: An Evilution + No Bra + Blush Response
The Addams Family: An Evilution (Pomegranate, March 2010) is the first book to trace the history of the characters that became known as the “Addams Family.” It presents more than 200 cartoons created by Charles Addams (1912–1988) throughout his prolific career, many of them never before published. Join author Kevin Miserocchi, director of the Tee and Charles Addams Foundation, for an illustrated lecture featuring work from the Foundation’s new publication, as well as a discussion of the “evilution” of the creepy assemblage as they developed as mainstays of Addams’s cartoons. Presented in conjunction with the Museum’s newest exhibition, Charles Addams’s New York. Book signing follows.

No Bra + Blush Response
Conceptual artists usually suck. It’s always the same anticlimactic contrived angst that makes us wanna run back home and check out what’s new on Xtube. There are exceptions, South London’s Susanne Oberbeck, aka No Bra, not only gives good show, she’s got a few hot electro tracks that are strangely appealing, yet manage to clear every dance floor…and we love her for that! Check her out live tonight with band of robots from New Zealand Blush Response.
