New York-based DJ Paisley Dalton puts out her latest mixtape Voyage! This time around, Paisley shows restraint, ditching all the over-produced quick stabs and effects gimmicks, choosing instead to adopt pleasingly slick tracks that build gradually and take the listener on a full 120 minute journey through sound. Some surprises here, For That track by Pauly D (that’s right…Jersey Shore!), Far Nearer by Jamie xx of the emotive English indie pop band The xx and Paisley’s self-produced eery rework of Donna Summer/Barbra Streisand disco track No More Tears (Enough is Enough), renamed Tears.
