We recently were turned down for a DJing gig because a shitty venue said: “We don’t allow DJs to use laptops”. So we thought we should really start featuring all the amazing TOP DJs/producers in the world that are embracing the digital age…just to show how dumb venue owners and promoters can be in NYC. Tonight, experimental multi-genre producer and laptop musician Flying Lotus performs tracks from latest album Cosmogramma, along with other cohorts, including Thundercat- who was featured on FlyLo’s track MmmHmm.
