Micachu and the Shapes + Julianna Barwick
FRIDAY 2
Micachu and the Shapes is one of those bands that you can’t really remember who they are, but you know their songs. Inspired by Harry Partch who was known for using improvised, home-made instruments, Micachu uses a modified guitar played with a hammer action called a ‘chu’ and a bowed instrument fashioned from a CD rack. Check out all the production and songs from debut album Jewellery tonight!
