Just in time for the release of new Spike Jonze film Where The Wild Things Are, Animazing Gallery in NYC shows off the biggest exhibition and sale of original illustrations by artist and author Maurice Sendak. More than 200 pieces are up for grabs, including a bronze sculpture inspired by the film.

Glamdammit Fifth Anniversary Party
Just because most of New York parties these days are all about hanging out in some hotel bar, or on the roof of some hotel…it’s nice to see that there’s still a few renegades that believe in a bit of rock ‘n’ rool raunch, sprinkled with glam dust. Tonite’s the five year b-day for Glamdammit, and all the kiddies will be out in their best retro doll looks. Twig the Wonderkid and Michael T serve as Djs. Plus, shows by Blackpeter Group and Kissi Kamikaze.
