It’s Broadway, B*tch!!!: Homos, Or Everyone In America w/ Michael Urie & Robin De Jesús
Michael Urie has been all over the theater scene since finishing his fictional role as Marcus “Marc” St. James, the uber stylish, personal assistant of Wilhelmina Slater (Vanessa Williams), on the hit TV series Ugly Betty. The Drama Desk Award winner’s latest project teams him up with two-time Tony nominee Robin De Jesús (In The Heights, La Cage Aux Folles) in Homos, Or Everyone in American– a new play about two guys in living and loving together in NYC. Naturally, questions arise about monogamy, what it means to be in a committed relationship…and then on top of all of that, there’s a vicious crime that ensues that they have to deal with. Homos, Or Everyone In America is a fearless, funny, heart-on-its-sleeve examination of the moments that can bring two people together – or pull them apart.
Homos, Or Everyone in American, October 20-November 27 at Bank Street Theater, 155 Bank Street, NYC, tix $30–$40 at labtheater.org, or 212-513-1080.
