Super cute NYC party boy and pop culture sensation Boy Radio (aka Jordan Hall) channels his inner Barbie Girl in new video Let’s Go Party, directed by Matt Sparks. Challenging gender norms, super model-like Radio dawns a sequin mini dress and warrior princess updo braid, debunking heteronormative myths that real men can’t also embrace traditionally ascribed feminine affectations whenever they feel like it. On previous tracks, Hall’s influences are steeped in electro-house music and rap. While this is still his foundation, Let’s Go Party is clearly a gloriously queer nod/homage to Danish-Norwegian dance-pop group Aqua, and their hit single Barbie Girl.
