“My name is Ady, pronouns (He/Him/She/Hers), proud Puerto Rican…I am a plus model, co-author, advocate. I’ve been an advocate for the plus community and LGBTQIA+ community…and in the industry of being representation for and advocating for the underrepresented and most marginalized in these spaces, by having the tough conversations while taking up space where we normally would not even a few years ago go. Spaces like NYFW, Campaigns for Patrick Church, Sephora, HOMOCO, FGUK Magazine, NYC Pride 2020, and more! I’ve also co-authored a chapter in a book, speaking on self-love as a fat, queer, Latinx model and advocate on how to exist as you are, in the body you have now. The book is called The Other F Word: A Celebration of the Fat & Fierce. I’ve also done panels speaking on representation and body acceptance. It’s been a crazy journey but so worth it! Still, a lot of work to do but that hasn’t slowed me down. I’m here to stay, baby!”
