Age: 27

Location: Santiago, Chile

About:

“I started my makeup journey 4 years ago, doing fantasy looks inspired by all the movies I loved. I always wanted to do drag, but I was intimidated by the techniques and the whole transformation…so, I began by creating club kid looks. I wasn’t really good in the beginning. I even entered the Face Awards contest here in Chile but didn’t make it. I decided to practice every week and entered the same competition the following year. I made it all the way to the top 6! That accomplishment changed my perspective and I started to believe in myself. My club kid/fantasy style started changing and I found myself getting closer and closer to drag makeup. I realized that I loved the mix between drag/clubKid/comics. I discovered this space where I could literally be everything I loved at once (like a cute drag monster thing). For me, drag is my expression of myself and how I want the world to see me. Drag has no gender and no boundaries. It’s dark and colorful at the same time. It’s not easy living in Chile looking the way I look, but society is changing and I want to be a part of that change. I want to educate the new generations in my country and show them that it’s okay to be yourself.”
