“I’m a conceptual artist who focuses on the acronym of DRAG: Deconstructing, Rules, About Gender. Drag is an art form, not a gender, and something to flip the expectations on their head. As an artist, I challenge norms of masculine and feminine expressions through creativity, sex appeal, and gender fucking. My work is often character and concept-based in that a look will have a full background to support who I am embodying, creating, and bringing to the stage. In Denver, I want to facilitate drag as an artistry and explore its power to build community through a variety of social media-based fundraisers I led in the past two years. I am working to change what drag performances can look like, where they can be held, and how they can build our community.”
