“I’m Persephone, named after the Greek goddess of the underworld but also because I’m serving p*ssy and just a bit of a fanny all around really.

As far as I can remember, I’ve been doing something creative since I sashayed out of my mum. During some dark times in my teenage years, I couldn’t find any meaning in life until I stumbled into RuPaul’s Drag Race.

The art of drag inspired me immediately and I wanted to treat myself like a human canvas.

Makeup got me out of the bed in the morning and was what I was thinking about as my head hit the pillow.

After some dark years in addiction, I’ve sobered up and really stepped my cookies up! Where before I was primarily a makeup artist, I’m now on a journey to become a full-fledged mother-tucking drag queen.”
