Merrie Cherry

Age: Unknown

Location: Brooklyn, NY

About: “I’m a chameleon of sorts…never afraid to try a new look or makeup styles. If the order of the day is fish, it will be served sizzling hot! If you want a garbage tran-animal, I’ll give you two scoops! My main focus is to have fun and give showz 24/7. I always say, ‘A real queen will give shows while waiting in line at the bank. It’s all about how you carry yourself.’

I’m also the creator of the Brooklyn Nightlife Awards– the only drag/performance competition in Brooklyn! I’m a full-time queen that continues to teach the children with a smile on my face and if need… a heavy hand, full of glitter. I have been called the Mother of Brooklyn- a title that I perpetuate by always having BBQ ribs and a side of hot sauce in my purse… just in case you are feeling a little peckish.
